Work Background

Mary qualified as a physiotherapist in 2008 after studying at King’s College London.

She completed her junior rotations in the NHS in a range of areas including musculoskeletal outpatients, orthopaedics, neurology, elderly care, respiratory and paediatric outpatients. Following her junior rotations she worked within the community setting in paediatrics, treating children with a variety of presentations. Over the past few years she has worked in private practice in between bringing up her young family. Mary uses a wide range of techniques including massage, mobilization, acupuncture, electrotherapy and has a special interest in the use of pilates for the management of neck and back pain.

In her spare time Mary enjoys cycling and swimming and when time (and childcare!) allows, particularly enjoys a spot of oil painting.
