Stacie has been teaching Pilates for over ten years and prior to that she worked in a corporate environment. Her corporate career became more demanding, leaving less and less time for fitness and activities she enjoyed.
Believing it is never too late to try something new in life, she completed her Mat Pilates teaching qualification in 2007 and switched careers straight away. Within six months she had set up Bay Pilates on the east coast of Scotland and was teaching up to thirty sessions a week.
Stacie believes passionately that Pilates is the foundation for good posture and improved form from everyday functional movement to excelling in sports and physical activities and can play a massive role in rehabilitation and recovery.
Stacie gets great enjoyment and reward from teaching Pilates to clients of all ages and stages. For many of her clients, Pilates can feel like multi-tasking at the beginning, with so many things to think about. But over time the application and effort start to bring amazing results – reinforcing Stacie’s conviction that anything of value takes time and patience.
Stacie also offers Soft Tissue Therapy here at Manor Clinic and she firmly believes the two complement each other well for both preventative and rehabilitation situations.
