Michele qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 1993 at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London, and has since developed her individual well-rounded approach to treatment of many different conditions. Initially she was accepted by the Army as a Commissioned Officer and subsequently served in the Royal Army Medical Corps as a physiotherapist. Michele has also spent time working for the military as a civilian and has provided physiotherapy cover for different rugby teams. She has a history of working in private practice, and with the NHS. Most recently Michele has worked at ChelsfieldParkHospital(a private hospital), which has helped her to keep up to date with current surgical practices and liaise directly with local Consultants.
Michele has extensive experience of working with sports injuries, but also has a special interest and expertise in back and neck pain, in particular headaches caused by neck problems. Her holistic approach has been developed through experience and attendance on numerous postgraduate courses.
Other noteable strings to Michele’s bow include qualifying as a Cranio-Sacral Therapist (a holistic therapy) in 2002. This is an approach that can be incorporated in any hands on treatment. More recently she qualified as a Chi Kung (a Chinese internal meditation) instructor in 2010.
Michele is interested in all sports and personally keeps fit, specialising in a Japanese martial art called Aikido. She is a 1st dan black belt. She also plays squash and is exploring a new interest of mountain biking.
