The Physiotherapists at Manor Clinic are manual therapists; this means they use treatment techniques such as manipulation, mobilisation, and massage. Clients have their biomechanics and muscle ‘balance’ evaluated with treatment focussing on complete rehabilitation by prescriptive exercise gym or home programmes.
Each physiotherapist is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and is registered with the Health Professions Council, the government regulating authority.
Physiotherapists can utilise electrotherapy modalities, where appropriate. These include ultrasound, interferential, muscle biofeedback and stimulation.
An expanding area for physiotherapists is that of screening to prevent injury, and ergonomic/workplace assessment.
