Michael has extensive clinical experience from sports, private and NHS settings having worked alongside the UK’s leading sports and orthopaedic consultants. He now works as an advanced physiotherapy practitioner in the NHS and brings his expertise in assessing and managing complex musculoskeletal cases to the Manor Clinic team.
Michael has a clinical interest in cycling related conditions and is also a trained bike-fitter. He has worked with riders from all disciplines and has contributed to numerous training guides and magazines. He also specialises in the management of running injuries and lower limb biomechanical challenges along with overuse conditions such as tendinopathies.
With undergraduate training in sports therapy, incorporating massage training and work in professional sport, Michael went on to study physiotherapy at postgraduate level. He is also trained in acupuncture, joint manipulations, osteopathic techniques and joint strapping and taping. He combines his manual therapy and assessment skills with high-level rehabilitation along with the management of complex post-operative cases.
