Kirsten’s fitness background expands over 25 years. She initially trained as an Exercise to Music instructor through London Central YMCA, teaching many varied classes in and around Sevenoaks.
She is now a comprehensive Practitioner of Pilates through Polestar Pilates. She teaches Mat, Reformer and Studio, is Barre trained through Stott Pilates and initially Reformer trained through Peak Pilates International.
Having lived in New Zealand for many years, where she trained as a Pilates Instructor, Kirsten ran her own successful Pilates business in a poplar coastal suburb of Auckland.
She enjoys sharing the benefits of Pilates and seeing the progress her clients make from attending Pilates regularly.
Her focus is on technique and giving attentive instruction ensuring clients are working correctly and enjoying a pleasant movement experience. She assists clients to not only reach their own personal goals but to experience the benefits Pilates has to offer as a whole.
Kirsten likes using a variety of different props, including foam rollers, therabands, circles and balls. She has experience teaching all age groups and sports individuals and has taught through clinics, gyms and Studios and receives regular referrals from Physios.
Kirsten has a diploma in Diet & Nutrition and has an interest in Mindfulness.
