Jackie trained and then worked at Kings College Hospital in London, leaving in 1981 to have a family. Since then Jackie has worked in Private practice in London, Tunbridge Wells and for over 20years in Sevenoaks. Previously she was a founder/partner of Sevenoaks Physiotherapy at Manor Clinic., and continues to work as a private practitioner, keeping up to date with physiotherapy and medical advances through lectures and courses.

 Jackie worked for Sevenoaks Rugby club for 13 years, then with top Junior golfers with the Kent and Sussex squads and the South East regional squad. This continued for 10 years, and involved liaisng with coaches and helping with exercises, injuries and postural issues. She still has a keen interest in adolescent problems both sporting and postural.

Jackie has been on the support staff for the London Marathon, attended tennis and golf symposiums, and has achieved a Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy which included a research project on the chronic sprained ankle.

At Manor Clinic Jackie sees patients of all ages. Whether 12 or 92 she feels it important to provide a caring service and focus on individual needs. Her aim is to make a thorough assessment and treatment plan from a wide range of knowledge which takes into account the specific needs and ambitions of the patient. This may focus on pain relief or rehabilitation, and will be discussed with the patient and where necessary with the referring GP or specialist. Jackie works closely with local GPs , London and local Orthopaedic consultants, Spinal specialists and Rheumatologists. She has recently been to updates on Knee and Shoulder surgery, and continues to keep track of recent advances in surgery and medical care so she can advise patients of all their options for resolution of their problem. 

Apart from time with family, Jackie enjoys golf, swimming, theatre, bridge, scrabble and Pilates. She recognises the need to keep brain and body fit especially in older people, who continue to lead busy and productive lives.
