Carolyn completed her Honours Degree in Physiotherapy at The University of the West of England in 2002.

She gained wide experience in a variety of clinical settings whilst starting her career in the NHS working at Charing Cross and University College of London Hospitals. She became a team leader in Hydrotherapy, and in her Outpatient’s department, needing to utilise both organisational and managerial skills.

Carolyn has developed a specialist interest in the treatment of lower limb injuries, previously running high level individualised lower limb rehabilitation classes She particularly enjoys working with the biomechanical issues that need to be assessed and has recently added to this specialisation with studying Bike fit for therapists.

She has increased her range of assessment and treatment skills over time and enjoys utilising a holistic approach. She uses manual therapy techniques alongside exercise prescription, acupuncture and pilates and promotes education and self management strategies to ensure the best outcome for her patients for the long term.

In 2013 Carolyn completed Masters level study in Advanced Musculoskeletal Management of the hip and knee.

Carolyn has recently moved into Private Practice and has joined Sevenoaks Physiotherapy at Manor Clinic, where she is a dynamic member of a team and is committed to advancing her career.
