Mrs Anita Barton
Grad Dip Phys, MCSP, SRP
Anita graduated from King’s (London) in 1985 and worked in the NHS for seven years, treating a wide range of patients, before starting in private practice in 1982. During this time she has worked alongside rugby and triathlon clubs, therefore gaining expertise in treating sports injuries.
Anita has attended many courses related to sports injuries and musculoskeletal problems. She has also lectured on postgraduate courses for physiotherapists and been involved in supervision of students. Anita specialises in manual therapy, orthopaedics and sports injuries; treating joint, muscle, ligament, tendon, and peripheral nerve problems.
Outside of work Anita enjoys many sports, particularly skiing. She qualified as a ski coach in 1991 and taught part-time prior to having children.
