Sue qualified at the Middlesex Hospital in 1976, and subsequently worked at a number of different London hospitals, including Great Ormond Street (6 years) and St. Thomas & Guys (6 years). Sue has covered a number of specialities in depth; these include Pædiatrics, Amputees, Neurological, Sports Injuries, Cardio–thoracic/Intensive Care.
Since the birth of her 20 year old son (after which she took 18 months off work) she has been working in private practice in Sevenoaks treating all types of out – patient problems as well as providing a domiciliary service for those needing rehabilitation or palliative care at home.
Current interest include
- Treatment and Management of chronic pain
- Rehabilitation post surgery
- Treatment of female continence problems, namely Women’s Health
- Work/posturally related pain – spinal or otherwise (all ages)
- Growth related aches and pains
Sue continually keeps herself up to date by regularly attending relevant courses and completed the requirement for membership of the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP) in November 2002.
